Guru Nanak Institute of Management was established in 1996, is one of the oldest institutes run under the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee. The mission of GNIM is to develop empathetic Managers and IT professionals. Students are admitted through a three-tier process, which includes MAT/CAT Score, Group Discussions and grueling session of interview by a selection board, which consists of academicians and management professionals.
History:
Guru Nanak Institute of Management (GNIM), a premier Institute in the field of Management Education was established by DSGMC in 1996. DSGMC is a religious body constituted through elected members under an Act of Parliament. In order to pursue its goal of promoting education, it has established GNIM in the field of Management and IT Education. The Institute has duly been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India for its PGDIM programme and is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for its MCA programme.

The GNIM aims to grow into power house of Management and IT education, which caters to the contemporary needs of the industry and helps develop students into world class Managers and IT Professionals who can work in diverse cultural environment.
Courses:
The aim of the Institute is to impart to its students a strong contemporary theoretical, practical as well as specialized skills pertaining to Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology and Retail Management leading to the grant of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
The Institute has 120 seats in PGDIM, 30 seats in PGDIM (Retail), and 40 seats in MCA. The time duration of PGDIM (full time regular) is two years and of MCA is three years
Students of MCA programme are imparted special training programmes in addition to teaching of syllabus so that their knowledge levels are compatible with the current developments and contemporary needs of the Industry. Case Studies, Corporate Data base, Research and Analytical tools form the educational content, in addition to academic syllabus. Students are also encouraged to conduct research work.
